Natures Happy Trails

Some things are worth waking up early ☀️
On our second day we explored the awe inspiring sights along Historic Columbia River Highway where the road wanders through the impressive Waterfalls. And we also Hiked to Mirror Lake, the trailhead Is about 6 miles round trip.

  • Our first stop is at  Crown Point Vista House

From here you’ll see the beautiful view of the Columbia River Gorge

  • First Fall we explored is the Latourell Falls

Then onto the Gorgeous Oneonta Gorge, this waterfall is definitely worth getting wet. It’s a short hike but challenging you gotta climb over jam logs and walked into neck deep water.  But it’s all worth it, it’s really gorgeous. The trekked made it more adventurous and fun. There are no experiences more thrilling than the sight, sound and feel of the rushing water when you reach this waterfall.

  • The next one is the famous and most visited waterfall. A waterfall as magnificent and memorable as any in the country. The Multnomah Falls, a 611-foot-tall roaring, awe-inspiring cascade of icy water, lets you experience the power and beauty of nature up close and with ease. From the parking area off of I-84, a 5-minute walk is all that separates you from the exhilarating spray at the base of the falls.

After our Waterfalls Adventure we drove to Mirror Lake Trailhead. Im glad this is an easy hike a bit of elevation but not too bad. When you get to the lake you’ll see the reflection of snow-covered peak of Mt. Hood a perfect postcard picture. 😊

Thanks for taking time to check my entry
